A striking sky blue oval sapphire held in a vessel of gold. This sapphire not only has a range of icy blue to pale teal to sky blue, it also has distinctive visible growth patterns (similar to the rings that mark the growth of a tree in its trunk) that illuminate when the light hits them just right. The colour is intensified by the matte frame of gold that surrounds it, with an angular, faceted band that mimics the facets of the sapphire.
Each piece is carved by hand here in studio, making for singular and unique pieces.
Cast using the ancient “lost wax" method, our pieces are entirely handmade and produced in England.
