A 1.001ct champagne diamond from Canada’s Ekati Mine sits at the center of this 18k gold Sylvie ring. Its slender, brilliant-cut pear shape returns light from end to end. The warm, gold-toned color blends naturally with the metal, while the Stardust details on each side extend the diamond’s long line.

Where the Diamond Meets the Gold

The gold does more than frame this diamond; it seems to continue its color. That closeness softens the boundary between stone and setting, so the sparkle doesn’t arrive as a sharp contrast. It moves evenly across the long pear shape—bright, but composed. The Sylvie design leaves the eye following that narrow line, from the rounded end to the point.
