How and when you got into the trade?
When I was in high school I had to do a career shadow project and spent some time with a firend's dad who was in the industry. I really liked the idea of it all and decided to look into what kind of schooling was out there to help me get started and thats when I found GIA. I enrolled right after high school in 2004 and have been in the trade one way of another ever since.
How would you describe your work in 5 words?
Approachable luxury meant for all.
Where do you take your inspiration from?
From a design perspective I tend to lean towards more simplistic looks with really high quality materials and the best craftsmanship possible. I believe that it's important to let the stones do the talking (if working with them) and really let their look and feel set the tone for where a piece goes design wise. I believe in always trying to refine a look down to it's core so that what's left really stands out as unique and special.

What was the most memorable piece that you made?
Recently had the pleasure of working with a huge pear shape rose cut that had really beautiful warmth and such a unique size/shape. A truly special stone!
