With a splash of crystalline warmth from the yellow gold a light champagne tone is caught, reflected and refracted through the large open facets of this subtly beguiling stone. Guaranteed to dazzle even after dark the oval double cut diamond returns as an echo - its silhouette repeated as openings through each of the polished silky smooth shoulders.
A double cut incorporates rose cutting to both the top and bottom of the gemstone adding layers of depth and complexity to a thinner gemstone. A rose cut features larger, open geometric facets to form a polished pattern across a gemstone. Historically, rose cut gemstones have been very a popular cut. They create a soft romantic sparkle even in very low light.
